Details Temple near the bank of South Esk at Kinnaird castle. It is a wooden Roman-Doric circular, tempietta, with a peristyle on an ashlar podium, a dentilled cornice and a truncated coned roof bearing a drum with a conical roof. Domed within. Probably designed by J. Playfair, circa 1790. The temple was formerly surmounted by a life-sized lead Flora statue, which is now located in the gardens to the west of the castle (NO65NW0098).
