Period Notes

Old mansion built c1696; by 1723 estate was in the hands of creditors. Existing house was erected c1823; with additionof masard roof and dormer windows in 1860. Stable block mid-18thC; sundial late 18thC; game larder 1825; dairy and laundry 1825; walled garden 1835 with early 19thC consoles doorpiece; mid-18thC dovecot; kennels 1834; wind pump 1791.
