Period Notes

Built in 1895-8 on the site of an earlier lodge, which was damaged in the Muckle Spate of 1829, and may have occupied the site from as far back as the 15th century. The lodge was damaged in a fire in 1991, and the interior was reconstructed. It was listed on 24/11/1972.
