Period Notes The listing gives two dates for the original building: 'probably 1595' and 'circa 1600'. There was an extensive early-18th century extension, and construction of the walled garden. There were further additions in 1827-29. The house was used as billets and as an officers' mess during World War II. The house and walled garden were listed on 05/12/1989.
