Period Notes

Period Notes The hospital was founded in 1256. Bedesmen were still being maintained in 1582, and there are references to the mastership until at least 1636. The chapel seems to have still been in use in the 18th century, but by the 1800s the chapel had been partially demolished and was in use as a stable. The surviving walling was repaired in 1900.
