Details Urquhart Manse dated 1822, probably by William Robertson of Elgin. Shown on the historic OS maps as a U-plan steading to the west and walled garden to the south, which remain on current OS maps. There is a B-listed dovecot incorporated within the walled garden (NJ26SE0015). The former manse has harled walls with ashlar margins and angle strips. It is 2-storey, basement and attic, 3-bay with central pilastered and corniced doorpiece flanked by later 19th century canted bay windows. There are two later 19th century canted dormers. Single storey and basement semi-octagonal addition at east gable. Eaves band and cornice. Original 12-pane glazing pattern at first floor windows. A stone bearing the letters IHS and the inverted date 1708 (probably an addition) which was at one time in use as a lintel stone at the Red Lion Inn, Garmouth, prior to its demolition, and is thought to have originally come from Urquhart Priory (NJ26SE0005) is said to be in the manse garden.
