Details Remains of a stone-built farmstead (of mid 19th century date) with mill and associated millpond. The hillslopes to the north appear to have been part of this settlement's arable fields. The farmstead is depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps which show an L-plan building and a rectangular building with a small pond and sluice to the west. They are set within a small group of conjoined enclosures. Building survey was carried out by FCS in 2013 prior to demolition. The roofed element comprises the northeast end of what was likely the farmhouse. This building originally externally measured 20.1m from northeast to southwest by 5.2m transversely over faced rubble and mortar walls. The roofed section measures 5.9m in length and bears a corrugated iron roof. The main fireplace (on the southwest facing side of the internal gable) is cement-lined.
