Remains of a firing range, at the foot of a steep slope where a rectangular trench contains the remains of the mechanism for raising the targets. Circa 50m east-northeast there is a wooden shed with corrugated iron roof associated with the range. Firing was from the field to the north. The range is depicted on the 2nd edition OS map. Defence of Britain project recorded that it was used during World War II.
