Remains of a quarry, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows a single linear quarry annotated 'Old Quarry' to the north of which is a gravel pit. Neither appear on the 2nd edition which shows three new quarry areas to the west and several buildings, all annotated as Old Quarries. By that time the workings had been abandoned in favour of new workings higher up the hill (NJ61SW0138). The remains of some of the smaller structures near the quarries appear on current maps, but the larger buildings north of the sidings are not shown.
