Details Remains of a cairn. The OS Name Book (1867) records that a portion of the cairn had been removed a few years previously when black earth had been revealed. OS site visit 1969 noted that all that remained were several large, loose stones scattered within a fenced enclosure. RCAHMS site visit found little trace of the cairn within a copse of trees on a low rise, although the copse is obscured by field-cleared stones that have been dumped over many years.
