Details Remains of domestic site No. 8 for Boyndie World War II airfield (NJ66SW0031). The huts are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1946. Some of the huts have been removed, but a group of at least 16 concrete hut bases remains. Seven Stanton type air raid shelters are shown on the OS 1:2500 map revised 1962 at NJ 62919 63383, NJ 62922 63447, NJ 63001 63451, NJ 63025 63470, NJ 63025 63470, NJ 63056 63465, NJ 63118 63478.
