Details Remains of a 17th to 19th century designed landscape of Kemnay House (NJ71NW0014). Defence of Britain Project recorded that during world War II a campsite was prepared in the grounds of Kemnay House for men returning from Dunkirk. Bases were made for cooking facilities and men of the 7th Artillery camped under trees of the West Avenue. See NJ71NW0052 for the walled garden.
