Site Condition Destroyed
Details Site of two cists. The first, found in 1867 during making of a railway cutting, contained a N2 beaker and bones. The second, found 1881, had a base covered with small pebbles and charcoal fragments. It contained bones, in fragmentary state, of a male, 5ft 9in tall, aged 25-30 years, and also bones of a boar.
