Details Lodge, still in use, dated 1775 and set within Knockhall Castle designed landscape (NJ92NE0052). Historic OS maps show buildings to the north and east that current OS maps show have since been removed. The lodge was externally restored with canted dormers added and the interior recast by D. Turnball in circa 1965. It is a two-storey basement and attic harled and cream-washed building, and has a three-window front with a stair, two-window gables, a square piended stair projection to back and some modern additions. There are margins to the front and angles only and interesting skew detail. An L-plan, single-storey, lean-to office building is attached at the north-east, and there is a roofless circular building detached at the north.
