It is depicted on the OS map of 1867 as having a range of buildings, probably green houses and potting sheds within it along the north side, and a series of paths and partitions within the garden. Another building lies to the west and one to the north. By the 1888 edition the range of buildings within the garden are extended. These buildings are no longer present. A footbridge to the south crosses the South Ugie Water and leads to the walled garden (NJ94NW0117).
