Details Site of the Cruden Bay Hotel, depicted on the OS 2nd edition mp. This shows a large hotel complex, with landscaped grounds to the south including a bowling green and tennis courts, with a nearby golf staters box (NK03NE0136). An electric tramway (NK03NE0109) operated by the hotel connected it to Cruden Bay railway station. The hotel was requisitioned by the army during the Second World War but subsequently closed and was demolished in 1952. The site is now housing.
