Details Farmstead, still in use, with a C-listed farmhouse built in circa 1830-40. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as an L-plan farmhouse with an L-plan range with attached horsemill to the north, and rectangular plan buildings to the east and west. On the 2nd edition OS map the horsemill has been removed and there are additions to the L-plan range and farmhouse. Current OS maps show further alterations. The farmhouse is a single-storey, three-bay building raised over the basement and with an attic. The frontage is constructed from squared and coursed granite, with a rusticated basement, raised margins and a base course. The sides are rubble and the rear is harled. Sash and case windows are used throughout, with a distinctive lying-pane glazing pattern. The front elevation has steps with wrought-iron balustrade to the door at the centre in an advanced, gabled bay breaking the eaves with a blind opening to the gablehead. There is a modern porch to the rear elevation, with a stair to the door at the principal floor. The attic has two piend-roofed, canted wooden dormers. The west gable has a piend-roofed, single-storey addition. There are ashlar coped skews and stacks and decorative cans.
