Details Venison larder, still in use, built in 1850 by J and W Smith. It is a circular, harled venison larder with a stugged ashlar granite base and lintel band courses and ashlar dressings. There is a panelled door in a recessed surround, flanked by arrowslit windows, gauze screened, and with further arrowslits around the circumference. Above the lintel course are eight clerestory lights with antler trophies at intervals between. There are timber bracketed overhanging eaves and a conical slate roof with a polygonal louvred timber ventilator at the apex with a leaded swept pagoda cap and finial. This larder sits alongside three other game larders (NO29NE0060).
