Constructed of squared rubble with rusticated voussoirs, a roll-moulded string course, moulded ashlar coping and curved and battlemented at the approaches. At the central arch string course at the base of the parapet is an inset panel inscribed 'AS 1866 ES' with a coronet. There are flanking battlemented piers, each with a spout to the centre at the string course. The bridge connects the designed landscape (NO34NE0088) and Glamis Castle (NO34NE0001) to the walled garden (NO34NE0129) to the northeast.
