Details A desk-based assessment and walkover survey was carried out by GUARD Archaeology over two areas ahead of proposed woodland creation. Within Area A this recorded features of seven previously known sites (NO36SE0016, NO36SE0017, NO36SE0009, NO36SE0018, NO36SE0020, NO36SE0022, NO36SE0023). Two known sites were not visible within the dense bracken coverage (NO36SE0019, NO36SE0021). One new feature, a small clearance cairn (NO36SE0080) was identified. See NO36SE0081 for Area B.
