Details Cropmarks of an enclosed settlement recorded by CUCAP (date not held at NMRS) and the RCAHMS from at least 1988 onwards. The settlement is enclosed by an enclosure, a broad mark which measures up to 6m wide, that is roughly oval on plan, measuring 30m by 60m, and has a southeast facing entrance. The rig, situated northwest of the settlement, has a south-southeast to north-northwest orientation and a distance between furrows of around 10m. A field boundary (shown partially on the (circa 1846) 1st edition map) runs across the field from NO 6072 4616 to NO 6061 4636.
