Details Farmstead, still in use, with the B-listed farmhouse built in the mid 18th century and the C-listed steading in the 18th and 19th centuries. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a U-plan steading with adjacent L-plan range. There are four L-plan buildings to the south and a pond and rectangular-plan building to the north. On the 2nd edition OS map the L-plan range has been extended, incorporating one of the L-plan buildings to the south. Another of the buildings to the south have been removed and the others have alterations. The building to the north has been removed. Current OS maps show further additions and alterations, and the pond has been mostly infilled, with a small waterway remaining. The steading is mainly single-storey and is rubble built with piended stone slate roofs, and has a five-bay cart-shed range with timber columns. The farmhouse, the southern-most L-plan building, has a coursed red rubble, two-storey, three-window front and harled gables, and there is a later rear wing. The windows are four-pane sashes, and there is a slate roof, skews with moulded skew ends and coped end stacks. There are outbuildings constructed from random rubble with stone-slated roofs. The eaves of the implement shed are borne on timber posts.
