One piece of possible early 19th century china and a piece of cream glazed pot were found in a tree-throw beside the larger building. The buildings are shown as roofless on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The area is now afforested. The modern forest road cuts through the enclosure and may overlie the eastern of the two buildings. The 1868 track lay east of the modern road, outwith the enclosure.
