Details Craig Parish World War 1 war memorial lies in open ground on the South side of King George's Field, adjacent to Barns Brae, in Ferryden. It is in the form of an ornate cross surmounting a rough-hewn pink granite stepped base on which the names of the dead are inscribed. Sculpted in relief on the cross is a laurel wreath covering crossed arms (rifle and sword) with an anchor in the centre. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive. The memorial originally stood near the Inch Bridge (see NO75NW0658) but was moved to its present location in 1949.
