Details Four granite boulders, on the farm of Bush, which are placed about equal distances from one another in an east-west line, are considered to be a possible stone-row. Watt in 1914 noted that they were almost wholly embedded at one time, but the subsidence of the marshy ground, after the deepening of the burn of Lightwood, has left them protruding from the surface. The 'marshy ground' may be the area (NO 728 993) adjoining the Bo Burn. This ground has been used as a dump for stone clearances, and the whole area is strewn with boulders, many of which are in line, rendering identification of this alleged stone row impossible.
