Church, still in ecclesiastical use, built by Mr Ormiston, architect, Edinburgh, and dated 1878. It was originally built as a Wesleyan Chapel. It is a Gothic revival small church, constructed of dark local whinstone with contrasting tooled ashlar dressings and margins. The entrance gable to Seafield Street (south) has a porch, with an inscription above. The five-bay return elevation to Reidhaven Street (west), is lit by bipartite pointed-headed windows with lattice-pane glazing. There is a ridge spirelet to the slate roof, which has a decorative red tiled ridge. To the rear is a single-storey, two-bay vestry with a doorway. It has a simple interior, with an entrance lobby, original fittings, plain pews, panelled dais for the minister and a timber-braced ceiling. The former manse abuts to the east (NJ66SE0299).
