Houses, built in the early to mid-18th century and restored in 1969-71 by J J Meldrum, architect, Banff. It is a two-storey and attic range abutting the rear of the Library and Museum (NJ66SE0374). The building is harled with ashlar margins. The north and south Irregular long elevations on are on a sloping site with a doorway in the north elevation (off High Street). The south elevation has further ground and first floor entrances (with a forestair), reached through a pend and garden. Four swept dormers break the wallhead in the south elevation. The east gable to the garden is symmetrical, with paired windows in each floor, an apex stack and crowsteps. There is a slate roof.
