Fallen target frames of a rifle range in Old Pine Wood, recorded during site visit in 1993. Defence of Britain Project noted the the wooden target frames, though fallen, are still extant, suggesting that these were constructed during World War II. A fine dry-stone dyke lies in deeply incised part of glen. It is not clear whether this is part of the rifle range depicted on late 19th century OS mapping (NO39NE0106).
