Former stable block, now in use as a dwelling house, first depicted on the 2nd edition OS map. It was designed by John Kinross, and dated 1902. It takes the form of a single storey building with loft, and a 2-storey courtyard stable, carriage house and dwelling range, with a small U-plan court at the North-East. It is constructed of random rubble, with contrasting finely tooled and polished ashlar dressings. There is a square leaded louvred ridge cupola, moulded coped to ridge stacks and stone slate roofs. A round headed ribbed and hood-moulded entrance arch can be seen in the centre of the West elevation, flanked on its left by a 4-bay stable block and on its right by an asymmetrical 3-bay dwelling with a gabled wallhead bipartite and a decorative carved date stone. A 2-storey stair turret with a bell cast conical slated roof projects from the North elevation. A profusion of discrete carving decorates the gabletted wallhead dormers, often with stepped and moulded detailing at the wallhead. There are also monogrammed plaques and coats of arms, and roll moulding to doorways and window openings. The monograms are initialled 'FJG' and 'WGGC' for Florence Josephine Garner and William Gordon Gordon Cumming. There is a symmetrical 10-bay single-storey South-facing elevation with gabled end bays raised to 2 storeys. These four structures join to form a square courtyard within them, which is linked by a passage to the U-shaped courtyard to the North-East. The inside face of the courtyard is punctuated with doorways to stables and dwellings, there are also wide entrances in the East and South ranges to former carriage houses with joggled lintels, and now closed by wide windows. There are double and single oak doors with wrought-iron furniture, and multi-pane glazing is used. To the North-East, there is an irregular gabled 2-storey house with crowstepped gabled. There is a North entrance gable, and abutting small U-plan courtyard with an East entrance that is flanked by square tooled ashlar gatepiers with stepped pyramidal caps. To the North-West is a generator house (NJ05SW0049), which is part of this building group.
