Remains of a farmstead that is depicted on the historic OS maps. On the 1st edition map it is shown as four rectangular buildings, one of which, the farmhouse, has a large rectangular enclosure adjacent to the west. To the east is a mill dam, pond and sluice, with a lade running to the central building of the group. By the 2nd edition map only the farmhouse is shown, located within a different or altered enclosure. A rectangular feature indicates the pond remains, but the lade is no longer shown. The farmhouse and enclosure are still shown on current OS maps, with the building still standing in 2005. The remains of the farmstead were recorded during a walkover survey by Highland Archaeology Services in November 2021 (NJ25SE0065), with the rough stone-built farmhouse surviving as an upstanding single storey roofed structure. The boundary enclosure around the farmstead had been dismantled remaining only to ground height.
