Site of a farmstead, depicted on the 1st edition OS map as having a long range orientated north west - south east. Another almost U-shaped range lies to the north, with open court to the south west. A mill pond with lade leading to a small building north of it, presumably a mill, lies to the west of the farm. By the 2nd edition OS map, the western part of the U-shaped building has gone but the rest remain. Field survey in May 2022 ahead of a proposed overhead 132kV line (NJ25SE0078) recorded the infilled mill pond as a hollow, measuring 30 m by 10 m and 0.8 m deep, connected to a 2m wide ditch to the east. Walkover survey by Clyde Archaeology in October 2023 ahead of overhead line reinforcement (NJ35SE0041) recorded an east-west bank west of the present house which may be the remains of the northern side of the mill pond.
