Details Walled garden, depicted on historic OS maps but largely recast in circa 1900, set within the Leith Hall designed landscape (NJ52NW0068). It is a large, rubble-built garden, with a Chinese moon gate added during the circa 1900 work. The gate is on the old turnpike road that ran over the hill to Huntly. The south wall was altered some time before 1915 to accommodate two Pictish stone, the Salmon Stone (NJ52NW0018) and Wolf Stone (NJ52NW0019). In the northeast corner of the garden are offices dated 1754 (NJ52NW0132), the walled garden stone museum (NJ52NW0231) and greenhouses (NJ52NW0230 and NJ52NW0232).
