Details Pill-box, part of the World War II coastal defences. Built into a bank with four sides visible this Bren-gun pillbox has three loop-holes, and one doorway with steel door still in position. It stands at the end of a line of anti-tank blocks across Sandend Bay (NJ56NE0038), adjacent to a World War II Type 28 pillbox (NJ56NE0039).
