Details Two memorial stones and one war grave are located within the graveyard of the old parish church of Forglen (NJ64NE0001). One of the memorials is to George F. Findlater VC (Piper Findlater) awarded the VC for his actions at Dalgao Heights in the Indian Mutiny campaign. There is also a memorial plaque to him in Forglen Church Hall (NJ65SE0104), which was unveiled in 2010. The other memorial is in memory of Brigadier General William James St John Harvey of the Black Watch who was mentioned in Dispatches four times. The war grave is in memory of W G Henderson of the Royal Field Artillery.
