Cottage, still in use, built in the mid 19th century with a later addition. It is a single-storey, three-bay gardener's cottage with a further bay added to the south, is adjacent to the walled garden to the south (NJ65SE0119) and a part of the Forglen House estate (NJ65SE0030). The cottage is constructed from squared and coursed whinstone rubble that is harled, with Turriff sandstone margins, sturdy stone mullions to bipartites, a grey slate roof with overhanging, slightly swept eaves, shouldered ashlar diamond stacks and a finial to the south gable.
