Walled garden, built in the late 19th century to the north-west of Forglen House (NJ65SE0030) with an associated gardener's cottage to the north (NJ65SE0118). It is almost square in perimeter, measuring approximately 15 metres x 15 metres (49 feet x 49 feet), and is compartmented with an east-west dividing wall. The walls are of ashlar-coped rubble whinstone, and are approximately 3 metres (10 feet) high. There are lean-to rubble potting sheds to the outer side of the north wall and lean-to greenhouses to the inner side. The dividing wall has a round-arched gateway to the centre in ashlar pane, Turriff sandstone ashlar with moulded surround, keystone flanking pilasters and cornice. There are cast and wrought-iron gates to the south.
