Remains of hut circle, recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). This denuded near-circular spread stony bank has an external diameter of 7.5 m and an internal diameter of circa 4.9 m, lies immediately north of a track. It is set into the southwest skirt of a very slight hummock. Some evidence of field clearance, potentially contemporary, occurs in its vicinity. There is an ill-defined entrance in the southwest. A walkover survey carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry identified the site (S14) with the bank remaining to a height of 0.4 m.
