Remains of a low spread turf bank recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). The long axis lying approximately north-northwest to south-southeast, and measuring externally circa 9.5 m by 8.5 m and internally circa 6.8 m by circa 5.9 m, The remains are so vestigial that there is insufficient surface trace to propose a 'hut-circle' at this location. There is a possible gap in the northeast of the feature but there is little evidence of much stone-work in the bank. A walkover survey carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry identified the site (S34) with the bank measuring 0.9 m wide, 0.2 m to 0.3 m high, with some stone still visible, representing a circular bank feature.
