Details Remains of a turf and stone bank delimiting area of rig and furrow, recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). It has a sharp cross-section profile and is bordered by a shallow ditch on its inner (field) side. Where it does not mark the edges of rig and furrow it can be seen to be secondary to rigs as it cuts through them. A desk based assessment carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry and subsequent field observation noted the site (S20.1) as present but did not record any further details, with the site located outwith the proposed development area.
