Details Remains of track, recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). Comprising traces of a built causeway for a track 2 m to 2.5 m wide running at approximately 125 degrees. It is probably a continuation of NJ83NE0057. The fact that it overlies rig and furrow may make it a relatively recent date. A desk based assessment carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry and subsequent field observation noted the site (S3) as present but did not record any further details, with the site located outwith the proposed development area.
