Details Site of shipbuilding yards depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, which also show three slipways as part of the yards. See also NJ90NE0009 and NJ90NE0283 (earlier timber yard). Site monitoring by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit in March 1998 during excavation of foundation pads for a new office building in the southeastmost part of the site recorded no archaeological features.
