Details Gates and towers of Powis Lodge (NJ90NW0605) designed by Alexander Fraser 1834, erected by John Leslie of Powis, whose father built the Lodge. They comprise two Turkish style minarets with a central arch. The gateway is also adorned with panels bearing the coats of arms of the Fraser family who owned the Powis estate prior to the Leslies. The foot gate to Powis Lodge is moulded, dated 1697.
