Details A watching brief was carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit in November 1998 during groundworks for a housing development. Part of the site was occupied by an iron foundry in the 19th-20th century (NJ90SW0295). At the time of the visit demolition of the existing buildings was complete. The site was very disturbed and no archaeological features were recorded.
