Details A private burial ground is depicted on the OS 2nd edition map to the northeast of the walled garden (NJ94NW0079) of Brucklay Castle Estate (NJ95SW0010). The 1st edition shows a more irregular enclosure with a summer house on the north side. There is also an obelisk to William Dingwall Fordyce M. P., who served as a Liberal M. P. from 1866 - 1875. He is also commemorated by the Culsh Monument (NJ84NE0002).
