Details Mansion house, dating from circa the 17th century, altered in the 18th century and the west front remodelled in tudor-gothic style in 1841. The listing covers the 3-storey mansion house with back wings forming an E-plan. Shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps set within the designed landscape (NO54NE0115), with a sundial (NO54NE0108) to the southwest, a garden house (NO54NE0035), a curvilinear walled garden and Gardeners Cottage (NO54NE0036) to the east, a U-plan steading with a separate long linear range to the north, Home Farm (NO54NE0032) to the northeast, South Lodge (NO54NE0029) and North Lodge (NO54NE0028).
