Details Site of a lodge which is shown only on the (circa 1846) 1st edition OS map. It is depicted as a small rectangular building with an enclosure over the road to the West. It was to the South of Caresten Caste (NO55NW0002), and was just within the Southern limits of the associated designed landscape (NO55NW0115). Gates were installed on the site in 1957 (NO55NW0102).
