Details Site of a farmstead which is shown on the 1st edition OS map. It is depicted as three buildings arranged around a central court open at the east and south. There is an enclosure within the court and to the west is a large sub-divided enclosure. By the 2nd edition OS map all of these features had been removed although a new building had been added in the southeast part of the site. The site is now a small plantation. It is within the Careston Castle designed landscape (NO55NW0115).
