Remains of a sinuous length of low stone-and-turf bank, less than 1 m wide, recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). It intermittently incorporates substantial blocks set along the long axis of the bank, and is cut by tracks. A walkover survey carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry identified the site (S20.6) with the bank measuring 1.1 m wide, 0.2 m to 0.3 m high, and approximately 123 m in length. At the northeast end the bank has been cut by the quarry access road and trackway remains (NJ83NE0063), as well as overgrown with bracken in areas. It has also been cut by an existing trackway at the southwest end. The bank is possibly and continuation of a section of bank to the north side of the quarry access road (NJ83NE0089).
