Details Remains of a low turf and stone bank, recorded during a walkover survey by Mercer and Ralston in 1989 prior to a proposed extension of Bellmuir Quarry (NJ83NE0181). It joins a bank NJ83NE0080 at its northwest end, the return of this bank at its southeast end has been removed. The resultant area enclosed shows further sub-division, with the maximum length circa 48 m. The area defined encloses traces of rig and furrow, narrower than that present NJ83NE0079 and slightly differently aligned. The traces represent the surviving remnant of a field system older than that represented by features NJ83NE0079 and NJ83NE0080. A desk based assessment carried out by Rathmell Archaeology in 2016 ahead of proposed development of Bellmuir Quarry and subsequent field observation noted the site (S20.2) as present but did not record any further details, with the site located outwith the proposed development area.
